Maintaining a high level of academic success is a tradition within the Florida Greek community. The Florida Greek grade point average has traditionally been higher than the all-UF student average. The Florida Greek community takes pride in this accomplishment and strives to maintain this exceptional achievement.

In the Spring '08 semester, the average GPA for the University of Florida greek community was 3.28, where as the all male average was just 3.22. 

At Delta Upsilon, we promote the idea that academics are each student's number one priority during their time at the University of Florida.  Through our scholarship program, we help brothers to reach their full potential as students.  This program includes monitoring the GPA of brothers and pledges alike, as well as enforcing mandatory study hours for those who are underperforming.  Quiet areas to study and work are always provided, particularly during exam week, and wireless internet is available throughout the house.  One of the greatest benefits of the fraternity is having the guidance of older brothers to make sure you get the most out of your time at UF.

Scholarships Available

We offer a need-based scholarship for brothers worth $300. For associate members, we offer 1 need-based and 1 merit-based scholarship each worth $250.
